"I ordered to of these Toto's in place of some strange toilets the builder put in when he first built our place 8 years ago. They have been in for three weeks now, and I have not had to plunger once...as opposed to the others that I was plunging every few days (2, 8 year old boys and a wife :) ).
Esthetically, they are quite nice. Their one piece design makes for easy clean up (see above, 2, 8 year old boys!), and the included seats are a nice bonus.
The other toilet I have is an American Standard Champion. With the upgraded flush valve, it also works quite well, although there first generation was not so reliable. It also seems to need to be much bigger due to the design of its 4 inch trapway. The Totos take up much less space.
The one element that I'm not so sure about is the tank lid, which actually just rests on top of the tank and is held in place with a velcro strip. This contributes to the perception that it is smaller, but I'm more used to the bigger lids which fit over and around the tank...also, the lid slopes so its not a great place to store anything."
