Great Product! Date: October 8, 2009
"We purchased this faucet from Faucet Direct as they had the lowest price anywhere on the Web as well as in brick and mortar stores. As another person mentioned, the only slight downfall of this faucet is the inability to truly "pause" the water flow, so it can be a water waster in some minds. The only other negative comment is that Kohler does not have currently or according to their cusotmer support dept, any plans at this time to produce a faucet hole cover in the stainless steel finish to match the faucet, like they have for the air gap. However, Home Depot has a faucet hole cover in stainless that is pretty close to Kohler's finish.
Overall, installation was simple and easy, and is a great faucet overall!!!"

Depends on your definition of pause... Date: August 24, 2009
"Yes, this is a quality faucet. But... nowhere could I find an actual description of how the buttons worked, so I bought the faucet anyway. The selling attribute for me was the pause feature. We have very limited water supply and pausing the water momentarily while scrubbing a pot, etc., would be a very useful feature. But that is not how the pause button works. You have to hold down the button all the time you are pausing the flow; therefore you have only one hand free for washing, etc. The only thing this pause button is good for is pausing water flow while moving the faucet from sink to pan. (The other button toggles between spray or aerated flow and stays in the mode you chose. You can also select spray or flow before you turn on the fauced. Nice!)

In all other respects, it's a very fine faucet. The water valve is easy to operate and control the rate of flow. As other people have noted, the spray can be very strong -- but a feature I like. Much of what I used to brush off now comes off with just a spray. If you're unsuspecting, turning on the faucet full force can be a spray-disaster. Have a light touch.

I also found that I was surprised by the imposing presence of the faucet. It really is fairly large. After seeing only pictures, I was surprised to see it for real; however, for me, it's a keeper!"

"I'm in love with this faucet! It is like the iphone of kitchen faucets. Great clearance for filling large pots, washing the dog, rinsing toddlers' feet or any other of the million things that end up getting done in your kitchen sink. The handle action in smooth and responsive. The design is well thought out and ergonomic, including the button to change the type of flow which can be done with one wet soapy hand while wrestling down a muddy pet. The entire unit works flawlessly. You get everything that you pay for"

Beautiful and functional Date: March 21, 2009
"We love the Kohler Simplice 647 kitchen faucet that we purchased about a month ago. The high arch gives it a great design aesthetic and functionally gives us more room underneath the spray to fill pots, wash dishes, etc. It is easy to use, seems very well constructed, and has great range of motion allowing us to move it around between our two side-by-side sinks (i.e., the handle swings effortlessly from one to another). The stainless finish fits best with our other stainless appliances, and it feels constructed well enough to last for years to come."
