"Installed this shower head along with the thermostatic valve and hand shower. I had the plumber take out the water saver in both. The Rain Shower is a bit of a disappointment, the water flow is not strong enough for those of us w/ long hair. If you are in a hurry (aren't we all?) this may not be the shower head for you. I do use the hand shower when time is a factor. My husband (short hair) loves it.
I stayed at a friend's home and they installed the 16" rain shower in their guest bath. Wow, I was in and out in 6 minutes. I loved it and thought the Rain shower I purchased (smaller 10") would be similar in water strength, just smaller in diameter.
The thermostatic valve is wonderful and it's wonderful to jump in the shower and it's always the same temperature. No problems w/ the hand shower, works great."
